I consider myself lucky to have known exactly what I've wanted to do professionally since I was 13 years old. I saw a behind-the-scenes special about the making of Jurassic Park right before the movie was about to come out and that was that. I was hooked. I am honored and fortunate to work among such brilliant and talented people every day.
I have very strong problem solving abilities and consider myself quite resourceful. I am a self-starter and quick learner with solid client relation and listening skills. I utilize my programming ability to communicate with Technical Directors to help develop tools to get even the most challenging jobs done.
Started my career in the design & motion graphics world and have since transitioned to photo-real, fully CG cinematics and film visual effects. I am a proficient 3D generalist with a very strong lighting & compositing skill set.
I've grown into being a team leader. Mentoring artists, and working with production and executive teams to shape a lighting department that brings the best out of artists and helps them grow into future leaders themselves.
After my over 14 years at Blur Studio, I moved into AAA Games to work with the legendary id Software to help them build a cinematics department capable of handling the sort of scope they wanted to start adding to their games.
