This was an incredible opportunity to work with the amazing David Fincher. We were tasked with creating these horrific subliminal moments that would be flashed during the serene and beautifully shot audio recorder being set up. We were given still 8K photography of actors laying on a table. They had little to no make up, and we were responsible for making them look quite dead. We teamed up with some very talented painters and got to work. We supplemented the painted gore with 3D insects and maggots, as well as 3D water and stylized foliage.
